A lot of running around on Wednesday!
We started off the morning doing a little reconnoitering of the prior days locations. We went back to Kenney's Way in the Pioneer Crossing development in Round Rock and explored around it. We decided that we liked the 1008 Kenneys Way more and more.
We were testing the drive to HP from there when we happened upon a manufactured home company and stopped in to see what they had to offer. Nice - but it basically came to the same dollars that we are looking at for realty. Something to think about anyway...

In the afternoon we saw 8 houses. And re-visited 1008 Kenney's Way to take pictures with the real camera.
We posted pictures of 4 of them plus two bonus sets of pics to show some unique stuff.
- pics 1 through 34 are a monster house at 17813 Madden Dr in Pflugerville. It's obviously an eviction or some other hurry up and get out situation because the damage looks like people got out in a hurry (holes in walls, stains in carpets, broken doors, etc.) Mainly we have the pics in here because it is just huge for the price. Too big for our family at this point in our lives. Probably at any point in our lives...but fun to look at.
- pics 35 through 58 are at 1517 Van Horn Dr. At $147K it's probably more than we're interested in paying but it was very nice. Interesting layout of mirror image living/dining rooms. The flooring was a bit much to look at - you'd have to change it or cover it up because it was making us seasick!
- pics 59 through 80 are 2718 Vinson Court. It's a very nice unique and flexible layout. Not much kitchen counter or cupboards but lots of room for flexible floating kitchen island or some such. The third bedroom is just inside the front door through double doors so that could be a music studio room. Or it could be somewhere else.
- pics 81 through 110 are back at 1008 Kenneys Way - getting non-blurry ones with the real camera. We also found out it was under contract already so it's probably not going to be a possibility. So we were trying to find things wrong with it that we didn't like. Unfortunately we could only come up with little insignificant stuff.
But on the plus side - Mary is getting a really good idea of what we're looking for.

Then we went to Lenten services at Holy Word (supper before the service) and met a bunch of wonderful folks. We got a ride home and an offer to have a place to stay if we need to next time we come down (and aren't moved down yet).
